10 Years of Coworking: On March 20 we celebrate 10 years of Workspace Coworking Almeria

A date that moves me deeply not only for what it represents professionally, but for everything that lies behind it: difficult decisions, learning and a community that has made this journey possible.

At the event I had the opportunity to tell a very personal story. Because Workspace was not born as a great business strategy, but as a vital necessity..

One day while searching for "office rentals in Madrid" to work while I was taking care of my mother with Alzheimer's, I found the concept of coworking. That search, apparently innocent, changed my life.

At Freeland coworking in Madrid I understood that working surrounded by other professionals, sharing ideas and supporting each other could make a difference. That seed was what prompted me to return to Almeria and dream of creating something similar:

A place where people come first, where growing together, where working makes sense.

Today, 10 years later, Workspace is a space of 700 m².with public and private areas, offices, meeting rooms, and more than 65 active professionals and near 1000 people have passed through here since our beginnings.

But the important thing is not the square meters, nor the numbers. What really counts is what happens here every day: real connections, collaborations born between cafes, mutual support when there are bumps, celebrations of shared achievements. Workspace is a living community.

At the event we also shared valuable training with Roberto Gonzalo Lopez (CEO of PowerLAB)who gave the workshop "The Entrepreneur's Craft".. A powerful and practical session that reminded us of something essential: the growth of a business does not depend only on the efforts of its founder, but also on his ability to structure it, lead it and make it work without everything depending on him..

Roberto offered us clear tools to get out of the cycle of daily operations, structure sustainable businesses and lead with vision. Attendees learned to differentiate between managing and leading, to scale without losing control or sacrificing quality of life, and to assume a more strategic role as entrepreneurs. A very valuable training both for the self-employed and for those who lead small businesses and are looking to make a qualitative leap in their management.
